Content terms & publisher rights
Updated 1 November 2026 · Content-use policy
SourceRead helps people discover and understand information from third-party publishers. These terms address content use; they are not a complete membership agreement or privacy policy.

Ownership and RSS permissions
Articles, photographs, recordings, videos, logos and other publisher material remain the property of their respective rights holders. Availability through RSS, a public URL or an embed does not by itself grant SourceRead or its users unrestricted permission to reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit that material. Applicable licences, publisher terms and law still govern use.
Links, excerpts and attribution
SourceRead identifies sources and links to original publisher content. Headlines, excerpts and other material must be used only to the extent permitted by the relevant licence, publisher terms or applicable law. Attribution and a link do not replace permission where permission is required. SourceRead does not claim ownership of third-party content or grant users a licence to republish it.
Reading, offline copies and access controls
Reader and offline features do not override copyright or publisher restrictions. They must not be used to bypass paywalls, access controls or geographic restrictions, or to create an unauthorized archive. Full-text extraction, cached copies and downloads may require additional permission; a feed’s availability is not evidence of that permission.
Audio, video and images
Linked audio and embedded video remain subject to publisher and hosting-platform terms. Playback on SourceRead does not transfer ownership or imply affiliation, sponsorship or a broadcasting licence. Downloading, rehosting or redistributing media requires an applicable permission or legal basis. Images and thumbnails also carry their own rights.
AI perspectives and summaries
AI-generated perspectives are SourceRead analysis, not publisher statements or verified facts. They may contain errors and should be checked against original sources. AI processing and output do not remove underlying content rights; analyses must not be used to reproduce protected content unlawfully or substitute for licensed access.
Publisher opt-out, removal and corrections
Rights holders and authorized representatives can submit a publisher request without creating an account. Include the publisher or feed address, affected content links, your role and the action requested. SourceRead reviews requests and may seek verification before removing content, excluding a source or correcting attribution. A request is not automatically a finding of infringement.
User responsibilities
Only upload, share or export content you have the right to use. Do not remove source credits, misrepresent authorship or use SourceRead to circumvent lawful publisher restrictions. Rights and statutory exceptions vary by jurisdiction; these terms do not restrict rights that applicable law makes non-waivable.
